- Something to put your writings in. Some people like physical journals, some like online diaries. The choice is yours, but make sure that whatever format you decide to go with is one you will enjoy.
- About 10 minutes a day. Most journal entries can be completed in about ten minutes a day. Really, it's up to you how much you want to write, but most participants report that they spend between five and fifteen minutes per entry.
- An open mind. Come to each writing session with an open mind. You never know exactly what you're feeling until you reflect and write, so allow yourself that space to let your mind say what it needs to say. You'll thank yourself later.
Guided journal prompts every day to help relieve stress and promote creativity.
